Maria G. Stavrakis

Maria G. Stavrakis was born in New York City. She graduated from Fordham University in New York City with a B.A. in English Literature. Ms. Stavrakis received a juris doctorate from Jacob D. Fuchsberg, Touro Law Center (www.tourolaw.edu/). Since her admission Ms. Stavrakis has extensively concentrated her efforts in Matrimonial and Family Law in all five boroughs.

Ms. Stavrakis concentrates her efforts in family law and matrimonial law. Prior to becoming associated with Bryan L. Salamone & Associates, P.C., Ms. Stavrakis worked as an advocate for victims of domestic abuse and also worked with Family Court Legal Services programs. Ms. Stavrakis continues to be an advocate for victims of violence. She focuses her attention towards, not only representing victims of violence and abuse, but also enforcing court orders and representing victims of physical, emotional, mental, and financial tyranny.

Ms. Stavrakis has handled numerous complex matters involving mental health and addiction issues affecting custody, visitation, and neglect. In addition, she concentrates her talents on CPS/ACS matters, whereby investigations are commenced, evidence is gathered, and she will ask that all decisions be removed or made unfounded. Furthermore, Ms. Stavrakis’ relocation matters have been decided in the Appellate Division, whereby they have been cited in numerous cases and have set new precedent.
